Happily Ever After
Updated: Nov 30, 2020

Once upon a time and Happily every after are words that we became accustomed to hearing from a young age through media, movies, and short stories. The Prince always finds his princess. The lost is found. The wounded are healed. All issues are fixed and no one has any additional worries by the end of the story.
These stories have caused us to seek out Happily Ever After endings. We attempt to craft our lives in the manner of the perfect career and perfect family joining hand in hand watch the sunset as the credits roll. I'm not writing to tell you that your wishes will not come true. Sure, many things that we pray and wish for will happen. There are times when others things will not happen. I like to believe that some things do not happen for our protection from the things that we can not see in the future. There are some things that do not happen because of our own choices.
We are complex, magnificently made beings with the power of making a choice. It is the choices that we make that directly influences our paths. Granted, there are some things that are out of our control. I've heard an artist say "everyone wants to make it to Heaven, but no one wants to die." We want the best of both worlds. We want to live forever. We want our loved ones to live forever. From a young age we were taught to connect with others and to love. At that young age, we were not taught about how strong the Love emotion is. Love has caused people to do things that they wouldn't ordinarily do. Even though we are fully aware that our time on Earth is limited to our birth and death date, we are still caught by surprise when someone dies.

It is important that we live our lives and not longer just exist. Use the limited time that was given to you on Earth to make an IMPACT and live in your purpose. Happily ever after is
possible. Take control of what you can control. If it is a change in your career- search out the career you desire and make it happen. Whatever you are able to realistically control, do so while you still have time. Design your happily ever after and walk in it.
